To my lovely class,

I hope you are having a fabulous summer. I have just got back from Spain and have missed you all lots, it was lots of fun and i cannot wait to hear about what you have all been doing over your summer break! I am looking forward to our fresh start in September and starting a brand new page.

Remember your summer homework…It was to create a project about anything. It could be something that inspires and interests you the world is your oyster. It could be presented in many different ways: you could make a blog, use googledocs, write it up, make a poster, present it to the class or however you would like to show us what you have done. I look forward to seeing/hearing them.

PS: Other news… my cat Bella is having kittens, i will bring pictures in when they are born. I am very excited!

Holiday homework

Just to remind you that your homework over the holiday is to create a project of your own choice! Choose something that interests you! You will need to research your project either using your own knowledge, books, library or internet…You can present your project on googledocs, create a blog or website, print it out, write it up, poster or you can present to the class in the first week of term. I look forward to seeing what you come up with for September.

Some ideas could be sport, somebody famous, Titanic, Space, music, etc…The world is your oyster. Good luck guys and girlies

What a fantastic year 5KW. You have all worked really hard and i am really proud of the progress you have all made. I hope you have a fabulous holiday, stay safe, be good and remember to read lots. I look forward to hearing all your adventures in September!

Here are some of the biographies created about Michael Morpurgo using the websites. (see earlier in the blog). The children have all worked well independently using the success sheet. Hopefully over the summer you will read more books by this significant author. I look forward to hearing if any are better than ‘Kensuke’s Kingdom’ and ‘The Dancing Bear’.
